Q4)To Kill a Mockingbird is set in the 1930s in Maycomb, Alabama, a town so small and insular that, according to Scout, her father is "related by blood or marriage to nearly every family in the town." Maycomb, despite its civic importance as the county seat, is a small and stagnant town. It’s a place where time seems to stand still. But, prejudice of every sort runs rampant throughout the town, and even though things are simply "not fair", the time frame has to be remembered.
